Veterinary Technician Program, Seneca College 2007
Cornell is very excited to have Amanda join us as the new Practice Manager for the clinic. Amanda’s love of animals started at a very young age, having grown up on her grandparents beef farm and making friends with the cows, pigs, chickens, barn cats and the farm dog, Beaver. These life experiences and her passion for animal well-being led Amanda to attend Seneca College graduating in 2007 from the Veterinary Technician Program. She was registered the same year. She brings with her over 14 years of experience in the veterinary industry as an RVT and Practice Manager.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son. She also enjoys fishing, boating, reading books, baking and relaxing on the beach with her family. All of Amanda’s pets are rescue animals that she has picked up along the way. A senior pug named Eggs, a young very energetic chocolate Lab named Fisher, a sweet budgie named Billie and Snugs the Dachshund.
