Both procedures require general anesthesia to prevent any discomfort or pain for your pet. The reproductive organs are removed by making a small incision near the abdomen in females or near the scrotum in male pets. We close up the surgery wound and monitor your pet as the anesthesia wears off. For recovery we provide medication and may recommend laser therapy to help heal their incision.
