Programs and Plans

What happens in the first year of a puppy or kitten's life?

Physical exams are performed at 8, 12 & 16 weeks with the appropriate vaccinations given to combat the diseases that your pet will encounter during their first year of life. Even if a 6-week vaccination has been given to your pet already, it is important to vaccinate at 8 weeks, so that they are fully protected once their maternal immunity wears off.

We use the most up-to-date vaccines in all our boosters. This is especially important for puppies, that require protection against a new strain of Parvovirus that has emerged recently.

Included your initial examination is a fecal exam and subsequent deworming to prevent illness and the possible spread to other members of the household. Your puppy or kitten will also receive a free bag of Royal Canin Development food, our recommended food to start them off on their road to wellness. This food is part of our "BUY 9 GET ONE FREE" Program.

Diets will be recommended that allow your pet to grow and develop to their maximum potential.

Spaying and neutering is included in the cost of the wellness plan and is recommended between 6 months to 1 yr. old. We will discuss these options at the 16-week appointment.

Manage your monthly spending while giving the best care for your little furry friend with our new
Wellness Plans.

At Cornell, we realize that the first year with a new kitten or puppy can be expensive, providing them with all the appropriate vaccinations followed by a spay or neuter.  To make this easier for you, we have rolled our vaccinations and the accompanying spay/neuter discount program into one simple Wellness Program.

This program is set up to equalize the payments for these services over an 12-month period, making it much easier to budget for these initial costs for your furry friend. Payments are set up using a secure site for Visa, Mastercard or Visa Debit processing, with billing done on either the 15th or 28th of each month.

There is NO SIGN-UP FEE and NO HIDDEN COSTS. This is a simple plan to help you budget your primary care costs for your new puppy or kitten. No gimmicks, no complexities; just straight-forward, transparent costing for your ease and peace of mind.

To help you manage your finances whilst providing the best care possible, we have created FOUR new annual plans that provide your pet with the level of care that is appropriate for their lifestyle. The plans, which all include annual vaccines and Heartworm/Tick testing, are tailored to meet their needs for preventative care products. If desired, GOLD plans include diagnostic testing for parasites and disease which can be especially useful for aging dogs. However, these GOLD plans can be started at any age to provide exceptional preventative care for your dog. See the chart below for details of the plans. Pricing is not included because it will vary depending upon the weight of your dog.
